Staff

Erin Kestner joined the Advent Users Group in January 2006 as the Regional Meeting Coordinator and currently serves as the Director of Development for Member Services and Sponsorships. During her tenure, she has been responsible for coordinating member meeting agendas, securing and maintaining relationships with sponsors, and handling special projects, such as the reworking of the compensation survey. Prior to joining the AUG staff, Erin spent over 11 years working for a large cap growth manager. Her experience with Advent products dates back to the days of The Professional Portfolio. She has experience in the areas of operations and performance measurement, but spent the majority of her career as Director of IT and Information Management. She is a former member of Institutional Investors' Financial Technology Forum, of AUG and is a Past President of the AUG Board of Directors. Erin earned her BA in Mathematics from Denison University.

Julie McGlothlin joined the Advent Users Group in April 2013 as Marketing and Member Services Coordinator.  Julie’s responsibilities include marketing and developing member relationships, in addition to hosting and facilitating member calls and live events. Prior to joining the AUG staff, Julie spent over 15 years working for an investment management firm where she worked extensively with Advent Axys, Advent Custodial Data, and Report Writer Pro.  There she earned her Advent Axys Back-Office Certification and was an active member of AUG.  Julie’s experience spans the areas of operations, performance measurement, GIPS compliance, marketing and client servicing.  She attended Bluefield State College and is Series 6 and 63 licensed. 

Colleen Coco joined the Advent Users Group in late December 2009 as Website and Membership Database Administrator.  Colleen's responsibilities include maintaining the membership database and accounting systems.  She is also responsible for coordinating Board of Director meetings, as well as assisting the Executive Director and Director of Development for Member Services and Sponsorships with their many tasks.  Prior to joining the AUG, Colleen managed accounts payable and receivables, customer service and job tracking at an industrial paint company.  In addition, Colleen has six years of experience owning and operating a local restaurant in Columbia, SC.  She attended Merrimack College and Fairleigh Dickinson University majoring in Math/Computer Science.  She's a proud mother of 6 grown boys and spent many years volunteering at their schools, church and sporting activities.
